Homer High School Presents: "On the Town," March 1 & 2

This is a reminder that Homer High School's presentation of 'On the Town" takes place this weekend! The March 1 show will be at 7 p.m., and there will be two showings on March 2 (at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.). Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students, seniors, and veterans.

"On The Town" is the classic Leonard Bernstein musical about the adventures of three sailors during their 24-hour leave in New York City. Set during World War II, men in uniform were admired and women were experiencing newfound confidence and independence as they entered the workforce in greater numbers. The show has characters that are full of personality!

Based on a ballet, there are many fun, moving dance numbers. The performance will also feature many Bernstein songs, including "New York, New York," "I Can Cook, Too," "Lonely Town," and "Lucky To Be Me." We hope you will enjoy our rendition, which features the students of Homer High School on stage, in the pit orchestra, and behind the curtain!

We hope to see you there!
