Homer offers staff and students the ability to participate in a computerized prepaid debit system for breakfast, lunch, and snack purchases. This is not a charge system, students must have money on their accounts to participate or pay with cash. Payments (cash and checks) can be sent with your child to school and given to the cashier, or you may choose to mail your payment to the Food Service Office at Homer High School. Checks should be written out to Homer School Lunch. If you plan to write a check for more that one child, please attach a prepayment deposit slipexplaining how the money should be divided. Cashiers will accept cash at any register. However, students are encouraged to prepay for meals to avoid lost money and speed up line service.
Parents who wish to place restrictions on a student's account can fill out an account restriction form and mail it to the food service office at Homer High School (PO Box 500, Homer, NY).
Parents can now access an online prepayment service at mySchoolBucks.com, to deposit money on an account. They may also view their child's account balance, daily purchase reports, and set low balance warning amounts. Parents can be notified via email of a low account balance.

** You will need your child's name, their 9-digit student id number* (not their pin number), and our school zip code (13077). Please note- you can find your child's id number on their report card, registration form, or call the food service office at 607-749-1216 and we can look it up for you.
On-line deposit Convenience Fee
A flat fee of $1.95 will be charged for all online deposits regardless of deposit amount. Convenience fees apply to all payment types (credit, debit, e-check or PayPal). This fee is per deposit transaction, not per student.
