Welcome to the Homer High School Library:
Our Library Learning Commons is open from 7:50 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library is the information hub for all students, faculty and staff in the high school.
The library media center has an automated circulation system with an online catalog accessible 24/7 from any networked computer in the high school and from the library's web page or from home! A number of online research databases are available 24/7 to students through the library's web page by selecting the Online Databases button. See Mrs. Mann or Mrs. Bordoni for logins and passwords for at home use.
Our collection consists of over 10,000 books, 100 periodical titles, and a small collection of videos, DVDs and recorded books on tape and CD. Books (print and recorded) may be signed out for three weeks; periodicals and videos circulate for one week.
The library media center is used by the school's students and staff as a place to do research and/or homework, to read and to study. Students are able to go to the library from study hall with pre-signed passes from teachers for whom they have work to do. Students may also use the library during lunch and 9th period.
