Homer Senior Awarded National Honor Society Scholarship:
The National Honor Society has announced that Homer High School senior Andrew Fagerheim has been awarded a $3,200 scholarship toward higher education.
Fagerheim was chosen from nearly 7,000 applicants and is one of 575 students to receive this prestigious scholarship.
The scholarship is awarded annually based on academic achievement, service, leadership, and character.

By demonstrating hard work, dedication and a commitment to their studies, 14 seniors from Homer High School are being recognized as the top 10 percent for the class of 2020.

Parents and students are invited to the annual Honors and AP Night, Wednesday February 5th at 6:30 pm in the Homer High School Auditorium. This is an opportunity for students interested in taking an Honors or AP course next year to come learn about homework requirements and teacher expectations in the various courses offered. Summer assignments and sample syllabi will be available to review. Members of each academic department will be available to answer questions.
