Homer Schools would like to announce a couple of ways to stay up to date with information on our website.
Yahoo! Group - HCSD_News
For those who prefer to receive e-mail updates, Homer Schools has created a Yahoo! Group HCSD_News as a message distribution group for What's the Latest announcements and postings of Board of Education minutes.
If you would like to receive e-mails when new postings are made, subscribe to the Yahoo! Group below by entering your e-mail address and clicking on the Join Now! button. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail from Yahoo! Groups titled "Please confirm your request to join HCSD_News." Follow the directions in this confirmation e-mail to sign up for the group. The easiest way to sign up is to reply directly to the e-mail by clicking "Reply" and then "Send" in your e-mail program. You do not need to create a Yahoo id to join this group.
HCSD RSS Feeds
Alternately, for those who prefer to not receive e-mails, we have many RSS feeds 
to keep you up to date with information on our website. You can choose to subscribe to only those feeds that are of interest to you.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It's an easy way for you to keep up with news and information that's important to you, and helps you avoid the conventional methods of browsing or searching for updated information on websites. Now the content you want can be delivered directly to you without cluttering your inbox with e-mail messages. This content is called a "feed."
In order to use these feeds you will need a RSS aggregator. Examples include: Google Reader, Firefox
, Safari(Mac), and Internet Explorer 7.
